PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

What is PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)?
For thePlatelet Rich Plasma therapy, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, it is then put into a special tube and is centrifuged to separate out the platelets and obtain Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). This plasma is then injected to the patient.
Platelets or thrombocytes are blood components that include growth factor needed for tissue repair in our body. When a tissue is damaged in our body, thrombocytes (i.e., platelets) are accumulated into this tissue through blood circulation and start a kind of repair process. PRP application is intended to provide the target tissue with a higher number of platelets than that would be provided by the natural process. The number of platelets obtained by PRP is 2 to 4 times higher than the platelets in the blood stream. This procedure enables the repair process for the damaged tissue to start faster and stronger.

What should be expected from PRP operation?
Has a long-lasting effect.
Rejuvenates / regenerates,
Safe and simple application,
It supports not only new collagen formation, but also all vital functions of the skin,
Wrinkles and lines are treated not by “filling” but by “rejuvenating” the skin.
The bright and healthy look following the first application might show a slight regression afterwards; a couple of subsequent applications would be needed.
Treatment course usually includes 3 applications. When repeated every year, a relatively permanent rejuvenating effect can be achieved.

To treat onic wounds, stretch marks and severe skin damages,
To treat hair loss as a single procedure or to complement and enhance other treatment methods.

How long does the treatment take? / Does it require any special condition?
The application takes approximately 30 minutes. It Is an office-based procedure which is carried out easily and without any pain.
